EACH CLASS A FULL 65 MINUTES
Join Diana for a complete, full body yoga practice. Prepare to sweat. Her Bikram inspired and Baptisite Method of Yoga training, will allow student’s to dig a little deeper, reach a little higher, go a little further, connecting the entire mind, body, and spirit connection. Please come to class well hydrated and on an empty stomach (1-2 hours before yoga class) if possible. Food weighs the body down, and soda causes gas in the body’s system. Juices or yogurt are preferred. First time students may experience light headedness or dizziness. This is very normal and passes quickly. Please wear loose clothing, such as shorts, T Shirt, yoga pants, yoga tops for comfort. Yoga Mats and Towels available. Diana’s yoga class is perfect for the beginner to the avid yoga practitioner.
All Yin postures are held for 3 minutes, and/or 3 minutes per side to maximize pulling and stretching. Abdominal holds and Leg awakening prior to practice start will compliment the YIN YOGA practice. Yin Yoga in and of itself, should be done prior to a student’s workout or after a student’s workout is done. Yin Yoga opens up the body; specifically the hips, groin, chest, and shoulders. Diana will explain while instructing each YIN posture, what the body is experiencing, the medical benefits associated with each pose, and modifications to students. With 21 years experience, Diana understands the benefits of yoga practice, the body’s response to each pose, while allowing each student to gain experience to go deeper into their own practice.
